Hi friends,
        Just thought I should pass on this warning to those of you who may
not be aware...Denny's Restaurants are now using a wheat based batter to
coat their potatoes in their "Skillet Dinners."  They used to only have a
few seasonings on them, but now they are battered (and look to be deep
fried).

        I bring this up because I ate there on Wednesday and noticed the
appearance had changed (after I ate about a third of the meal).  I then
asked the waiter to check for me, and sure enough, the ingredients label
listed wheat flour in the mix.
