Building on Gluten-Free Pantry's idea...May I suggest that vendors with Florida contacts (healthfood stores, customers) make the contact directly, find out if there is a need and post the general results on the list.

Those of us who then wish to make a contribution can call the vendor and buy the food for whomever it will be sent to. (I'd honestly suggest not buying online or we could all end up buying an overload of stuff, but they all have toll free numbers.)

I hope that every vendor who fills up our celiac listserv space with FREE advertising takes the time to do this. If you find the time to post your ads, you should have the time to post a request!

And if any of you have any idea for getting CSA on board with this, or GIG or whomever we pay dues to, contact them and tell them what you've been telling me....that we're disappointed that our major groups aren't spearheading this.

Lin
