Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for all the responses to my post on the gf status of corn
gluten.  I received many responses and most people said the same thing:
corn gluten is safe for celiacs.  It does not contain the harmful
protein that wheat, oats, barley and rye gluten do.  However, I did
receive at least one response that said that some of the members of the
poster's family (who are celiacs) do react to corn gluten.

I suppose there's only one way to find out if I will react to the corn
gluten in Uncle Ben's rice, but from what most people have said, corn
gluten should be safe for me.
