<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>>

I have not heard from any Zeer subscribers about my posting. If anyone has
had ANY success in cancelling their Zeer subscription please raise your
hand. It disturbs me to think a company is taking advantage of our medical
situation which can be frustrating enough.

Here is my experience:

Zeer.com sells on-line information about the gluten free status of foods. I
have not been able to cancel my subscription although I have tried
repeatedly since December.

When I e-mail Zeer, I receive an automatically generated note that they will
contact me in 72 hours but have never gotten any other response. Also, the
only way to re-establish a password is by e-mailing them (they provide no
"Have you forgotten your password" link). They have not responded to my
request for a password either. So if I DID want to use their service, I
would not be able to.

I have addressed the issue with my credit card company. The credit card
statement contains a fraudulent (disconnected) number. Even the dispute
office tried to reach them by phone and could not. In February the credit
card company put a "block" on any charges from Zeer but it did not work. The
dispute officer told me that if a company is fraudulent and tries to find a
way around the block, it can. Also, I understand that if I cancel my credit
card, I will still be billed for the monthly charges each month! THERE
APPEARS TO BE NO WAY OUT OF ZEER .COM! I suggest you do not enter. It
appears that I will have to pay legal fees to get rid of a 4.95 monthly
charge.

NEW QUESTION: Does anyone know how to find a regulatory commission for
on-line businesses?
