Our company has received dozens of emails thanking us
for starting our 'Giving $$ Back' campaign.

Several people asked, "How long with the campaign
last?"

Well, the campaign still just getting started. Rather
than thinking about an endpoint, we are focused
getting the word about 'Giving $$ Back.

Another person thought our motives were simply to make
more money for our company.

Phillyswirl has been giving back in a variety of ways
since the company was started in 1992. The truth is,
we are donating the profit -- 25 cents-- off each box
sold. In addition, Max Lapin and I, the co-owners, are
personally matching that amount from our pockets. The
result, for every box of PhillySwirl sold, a total of
50 cents is being donated to celiac research.

The Center for Celiac Research has been receiving UPC
codes for several weeks.

Shortly before the campaign was announced, we learned
that a very close friend was diagnosed with celiac
disease. Our interest in helping the community has
been there, now it is personal. PhillySwirl is doing
what it can to help find a cure.
