Hi. I can't take credit for this but wanted to pass it on.

Portable Pie
Make your favorite pie filling. Put it in a casserole dish without a crust. Bake covered till done.  Scoop into ice cream cones and garnish with ice cream or whipped cream.

My son, 8 years old, loved it.  This would be easy to take on a picnic or make ahead for holidays.
