Celiac Disease Foundation presents our Annual Education Conference & Food
Faire on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles,
California from 9am to 4pm -- "A Great Day For Gluten-Free"

 

Speakers will include 

 

Michelle Pietzak, MD, Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, University
of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine; 

Martin F. Kagnoff, MD, Director, Wm. K. Warren Medical Research Center for
Celiac Disease; 

Bob Levy, Bob & Ruth's Gluten-free Dining & Travel Club; 

Beth Hillson, chef and founder of GlutenFree PantryR President, American
Celiac Disease Alliance; 

Danna Korn, author of "Living Gluten-Free For Dummies" and her latest book
"Cooking Gluten-Free for Dummies". 

 

Included in the day's activities will be Q&A with Michelle Pietzak, MD as
well as registered dieticians, Alicia Calvo, RD, Robyn Goldberg, RD and
Nicole Meadow, RD. 

 

Meet the new group: T.A.G. - Teens Against Gluten with moderator, Karen
Rabwin LCSW

 

There will be over 50 Vendor Displays with samples and sales.  A Continental
gluten free breakfast and lunch will be provided with registration.  

  

Registration before April 11th is $90 for members (as well as members'
spouses and children over 14) and $115 for non-members. After April 11th the
fee is $130.  Walk-ins the day of the conference will also be $130.
Children under 14 are $45.  Free parking with validation is available at the
parking structure directly across the street from the Conference Center.
Please note, there will NOT be a Children's Program this year.
