I have decided to go ahead and do the summary for my question about using
bladderwrack for H. Pylori. I only got 4 responses and one of those was
actually a question which I have answered privately. The other 3 I will put
below.

In "Why Somach Acid is Good for You," Dr. Johathan Wright has a discussion
about mastic, the natural H. pylori killer. "Mastic has been a staple of
medicine in the Mediterranean and Middle East regions for thousands of
years, but is virtually unheard of in Western medicine.
Since ancient time, mastic has been valued for its ability to safely relieve
a wide range of digestive disorders from bad breath to peptic ulcers. Now
known to have broad spectrum antimicrobial properties, it has recently been
found to kill various bacteria, including H. pylori, the organism
responsible for most cases of atrophic gastritis and peptic ulcer." He
further states that it's been available in the US for about 2 years and he
has found it successful in several cases to use 500 mg three times daily,
however, he cautions that there is still much research to be done on it's
use. And, of course, there's no garantee that you won't be allergic to
mastic. I also have antibiotic allergies and have found that lots of
"natural remedies" trigger allergic reactions as well. But, it might be
worth it to try mastic. Perhaps you could find a source for this product by
searching the internet.

Yes, there is help for H.Pylori. If you call David Slater Homeopathics he
has one specifically for that. Actually if you have ulcers from it to then
usually Cryptosporidium parasite is involved also. He makes that
homeopathic too. His number is 303-428-4584. They can ship you the
homeopathics too. They have a website called www.healerswhoshare.com
<http://www.healerswhoshare.com> You will find out all about him there.
You can call and they will talk to you about it before you purchase anything

Did you see the recent news release stating that broccoli and broccoli
sprouts will kill h. pylori? Also, put oregano on your food. It helps to
control bacteria.

Me here again. I can tolerate broccoli and sprouts so will increase my
intake on them and look into the other two things that were mentioned.
Unfortunately for me we do not have any naturopaths or homeopaths in our
area for at least several hundred miles. I am unable to travel to far so I
will have to do my searching over the internet. I did look more closely
into the bladderwrack and found that it has a lot of iodine in it. Although
I do not have DH as a symptom of my celiac I also don't want to give it a
reason rear it's head so have decided to take the bladderwrack back to my
health food store.

Thanks for the help.
Carolyn
