You can make custard pies, pumpkin pies etal WITHOUT A CRUST and still
get wonderful results.....grease pie pan with butter or crisco...not
margarine..it burns.  You may sprinkle chopped nuts over the bottom if
you wish and pour the filling in ..Bake as usual.  Odds are your family
won't mind and think of the fact, calories and carbs you/ve saved.
