I just found a waffle ice cream cone maker at this website.

Has anyone tried using one of these?  It's $50 but knowing that this
product is available, perhaps it's possible to find less expensive
sources.  Theres a  recipe in the archives that suggests using a krumkake
iron (or taking the batter to an ice cream shop to have them make the
cones).  This device might  pay for itself in a short time:  a box of cones
I bought yesterday cost $7!
