Get in touch with the developmental preschool in your area. It may be
called something else, but get in touch with the school administration in
your town. I don't know what laws India has for children with
disabilities, but the school will need documentation of your daughter's
disability, so if she hasn't seen a developmental pediatrician or
neurologist, you could be ahead of the game if you get in touch with
them.. If you haven't and you're closs to a medical school, contact the
school and ask for pediatrics or developmental medicine. If you aren't
close to a med school, contact your state/national board of medicine and
ask for those types of resources. These are the questions where I miss my
Dad. He was Dean of an International Medical School. If you contact this
Doctor, she may be able to give you some information. She wasn't on the
faculty when my dad was there, but may have info or contacts with the
Indian educational system. I'll also include a link to the school in
general, as it appears to have several Indian faculty members.

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress
depends on the unreasonable man.

-George Bernard Shaw 1856-1950
