Not sure of your question? If it's about this years shot protecting against
swine flue, that is our current best knowledge.
If you're asking about the effectiveness of getting the shot each year,
absolutely.  There is a very small portion of the population that should not
get the shot (they have compromised immune systems).  For everyone else,
you're odds are about 75% better for not getting the flu -- regardless of
which strain actually shows up --, if you get your shot, then if you do not
get the shot.
