WHOLE FOODS On Line!

With assistance from the celiac Disease Foundation, Katie Atkinson will be
posting a Gluten-Free Products Guide in early September. The web address is
www.wholefoods.com. It will be listed in the Issues and Actions section
(click on the front page). There are some limitation to the list, however.

They have not researched cross-contamination, so there is a disclaimer on the
list letting folks know that the list is only a guide rather than a "set in
stone" document. They are hoping that folks will feel free to contact them
on the web if they see errors in the list. And as always, manufacturers can
change ingredients sat any time, so they will have to periodically review the
list and try to keep it as accurate as possible. According to Katie, their
gluten free lists are now supposed to be in-store kiosks located under
healthinfo/ingredients and labeling.

Our own Houston Chapter Whole Foods Products Guide has been given to the 3
store managers to copy for their customers.
