Have any other Australians experienced rtoubles eating obviously polished or
waxed apples in Australia?

I have had very bad reactions 3 times over the past few months after eating
apples purchased from stores. Wiping the apples doesn't help unless they
are scribbed (usually with Scotch Brites) or peeled.

These reactions have occured in Vic, NSW and last weekend in the NT.

Apples eaten straight from our tree at home have produced no reaction at
all.

Appreciate hearing from others as local doctor has suggested contacting
Health Department over it.
