Dear List,

I'm already seeing our grocery bill go down thanks to your suggestions!
Usually when I go to Wild Harvest (Framingham, MA), I easily spend $120.
Today I bought a week's worth of organic produce, meats, and desserts for
$54! We'll go to Shaw's (Ashland) for dry goods, pet food, etc. Thanks again
for your terrific response.

A reader caught a gluten hazard in one of the replies to my post:

<I notice that one of your replies mentions V8 juice as a drink. Last time I
looked V8 contains MSG so is laced with gluten.>

Here's another good tip to save money someone sent after the summary:

...sometimes I buy meat on sale and then make jerky (dried in the oven). I
need to snack often as I have lost a tonne of weight being sick.
++++++++++++++

Best wishes,
Mara in MA
