I thought it worth recording that the Saudi Arabian national airline,
Saudia, has initiated a system for making life more pleasant for people
with autism and related disorders who are on gluten and casein free diets.

They have produced a very attractive menu of GF/CF foods and also special
jigsaw puzzles and other "toys" designed to be especially attractive to
children with autism and make life bearable for their fellow travellers.

Given the comparitive paucity of children with autism traveling on planes
as compared to people with other forms of gluten sensitivity it does
reflect very favourably on Saudia and very badly on airlines from more
developed parts of the world. Their ideas were designed to be easily
adopted by other airlines.
