Hello Listmates,

I accidentally deleted several email from some of you that were interested in
how my St. Lucia trip went, so I thought I would summarize.

I think if we all ate an island diet we would be healthy and happy!! I am
also diabetic, and I had no problems with any of the food I ate in St. Lucia.
The main diet there is fresh fruits, seafood, vegetables. They grow a lot of
their own food with little shipped in to the island. I ate breadfruit,
coconut, banana (lots of bananas), grapefruit, mango, tons of fish and some
great lentil soups. They don't use flour much at all, I didn't see many bread
products anywhere. Of course you can order pasta and stuff but there were a
lot of alternative choices.

I am happy that my first trip abroad with CD went so well, I did take some
things for the plane and snacks which worked out well. Good luck to you
travelers!!
