In response to Paul's bad encounter with the dietician: Don't let her get
to you! There will always be those who, for one reason or another, don't
say or do what is in our best interests. Before I was diagnosed (my biopsy
was negative because I had been GF for a while, but my doctor has advised me
to continue the GF diet forever because my symptoms disappeared) I had one
doctor tell me he thought I "just needed a hug"! Your doctor apparently
believes you need to be on a GF diet since he has been treating you for nine
years and he sent you to a dietician. Who is she to question the doctor's
treatment?? Be true to yourself and forget her advice.
