Just thought I would add that I picked up a hand balm by the name of
"Badger Healing Balm" from my local health store and have been very
impressed.  The ingredients are: Pure Olive Oil, Natural Beeswax, Castor
Oil, Aloe Vera Extract, & Essential Oil of Sweet Birch.  It is somewhat
expensive ( $5.49 for a 2oz container) but it does work on healing dry &
chapped hands.  I am not associated with this company, just pleased with
the results of their product.
