Dear All,

Because most of what I received from so many kind people
was not really relevant to this list, I'll only summarise
briefly in two ways:

1) I found that there was no evidence that coeliac and eye
problems necessarily go together. There are some
suggestions that lack of zinc and low vitamins A and E MAY
be implicated in various eye problems so a link is not to
be completely ruled out.

2) On the actual personal front, what appears to have
happened is that the doctor (a hospital senior registrar -
ie two levels below God if so many ....:-) managed to
explain to an ex-nurse so badly that his diagnosis was
completely misunderstood. Apparently, the eye hospital has
a history of doing this. The good news is that Karin does
NOT have a serious eye problem right now as we had
believed, she has a serious doctor problem instead!

I will reply to everyone who spent the time to write to me
about this but I am still so snowed under that I have
trouble making time (this is my works computer) so will be
doing so over the next few weeks. Thank-you all of you for
your prayers and your friendly and supportive letters.
Several people have said how great the support we get from
each other is. I can only echo that!

Regards and grateful thanks

David
