Thanks so much to all who responded to my post regarding the GF status of
Listerine. The upshot seems to be that it is NOT GF. Terrific to know
that in advance.

Here is the summary of responses.

>I use it, however, I don't gargle and I spit it out until i don't think
>its in my mouth over a period of 1 to 3 minutes so that i won't swallow
>it.

>I work for Warner-Lambert (makers of Listerine) and my wife has CD (although
>she hates Listerine!). Although I couldn't figure out the GF status
>from the bottle (as you probably couldn't), I did find their toll-free
>number: 1-800-223-0182.

>Rembrandt mouthwash is GF. I think it's at Walmart.

>I don't know what the gf status of :isterine is, but I recently
>had a root canal done (my first) in August. I gargled prior to and
>afterwards with warm salt water - my gums were in bad shape at that time.
>Don't know if you can have salt, but thought I'd let you know that it was
>comforting and seemed to help.

>According to my research, Listerine Antiseptic was NOT gluten free, as of
>April 1, 1998. Our family publishes the Clan Thompson Pocket Guide to

>included in our book. The manufacturer's name is Warner Lambert Consumer
