Hello fellow Celiacs. I realized that I was milk and egg intolerent a year
ago; and since then have tried various experiments; like drinking lactose free
milk, eating only egg whites, etc.
It seems to me that I am allergic specifically to the egg whites, and lactose
free milk still bothers me. I experience small, painful skin eruptions on my
back and neck which last about a week.
I have read that many celiacs are allergic to the same things, and I am
wondering if any one out there has the same reaction? I am starting to
believe that I am allergic to the proteins in these dairy products. Maybe
celiacs are generally allergic to proteins...isn't gluten (yuchh) a protein?
Just wanted to get a bit of feedback.
Also, if anyone knows of a GF, milk, and egg free, muscle-gain drink (like
those big tubs at the health food store); I would love to know about it.
THanks...peter-michael marino
