Hi
Thanks so much to everyone who responded. I have been a Celiac all my life (28
yrs). I followed the diet growing up, left it in my teens( thought I was
cured, ha, was getting sick and didn't know why!!!!) and now have been
following it for the past 3 yrs again. I'm not one to cook. But, I am getting
bored of the same old stuff. I may have to break down and do some cooking
(yuck).
Well, here is a list of the suggestions everyone offered:
Yougurt w/ fruit or raisins
Yougurt shakes-- add Orange juice, yogurt (any flavor) banana, ice cubes and
blend
Carnation Instant Breakfast - creamy choco. NOT malted choco or vanilla
Rice Cakes w/ peanut butter&jelly, melted cheese, egg on top
Rice Puddings
Rice - precooked, store or freeze, heat later w/ butter, sugar, milk- or
shredded cheese
Eggs- microwave ( I didn't know you could scramble them in micro :) )
Pancakes or Waffles -- pre make pancakes and freeze, micro when you want
Breakfast drinks-- Boost, 40-30-30Balance
Protein bars- Genisoy, Balance, Pr*Ironman (have been told GF)
Trader Joe's waffles--someone said Banana waffles were coming out (yum)
Health Valley marshmallow bars
Brown rice with honey
Grits
Kinninnick Bagels ( I don't think I have seen them in AZ, will keep looking
though)
Lundberg rice cereals
El Peto Cheese bread
A lot of things can be pre-made and then frozen for later use, such as
muffins.
And the list could go on and on....THANK YOU so much:) This will really help
to brighten my mornings. Hope everyone else finds this helpful too.
