Many, many thanks to those who sent useful information.
And a please, no more, to some other folks.
Just a point about going gf before the testing: (this was someone's
concern that I had put my son on the diet rather than stuffing him
with bread).
The first thing that the naturopath did, before the serious
evaluation, was to put me on a really annoying diet.
For over a month, I ate steamed vegetables & some brown rice, and a
nutrient drink/"cleanser" that just so happened to be gf.
_Then_ I was given the Adrenal Stress Index
I had a copy of the lab report sent to my home address.
Instructions on dealing with what was obviously celiac disease were
printed up with the report.
If I still tested positive after a month of that diet, I really don't
think a couple of weeks of no wheat is going to affect testing
signifigantly.
