Visit your doctor and when he prescribes, ask him to check his copy of
MIMS, a reference book on drugs. Tell him that there is a symbol indicating
all GF Drugs, it is a small circle with a cross like a spoked wheel. This
applies to all drugs and is information I got from the Australian Coeliac
Society Journalmany moons ago.
I find that doctors generally are unaware of this and are supprised when
they check the index at the front and find I am right. They remember you
the next time.
I have just realised that you are in NZ. MIMs may not be available but
there may be a close equivalent after all we share many of the same
Standards. Let us know.
Regards,
Chris
