I made a batch of the Killer Brownies this afternoon and forgot to use any
gum, and I think they turned out fine.  After I had them in the oven I
realized that I had left out the Guar Gum that I intended to use.  Nothing to
do then but wait and see how they turned out.  I don't know what difference
gum would make in the finished product, but the ones I made are moist and
chewy - just like I like them.

I'll definitely make them again, and I'll try to remember the gum to compare
the results.
