Several of you have asked about the reference source I cited for
the question about bentonite.  I just bought this book, and it's
amazingly complete: 8,000 food additives are described in detail.
I just wish that there was an edition later than 1994.  At least
it's still in print and should be readily available, but probably
by special order.
