Dear Group

Well I self diagnosed and went off gluten for 4 weeks(first mistake) and
have felt alot better. Last week I had some gum and maybe something else
with wheat in it and I have been constipated and tired for 5 days. Is
this normal? I saw my Dr and she is sending me to a Dr who is interested
in Celiac disease. I am to go back on gluten. So pain here I come.
Does anyone have a ballpark figure on how long you must be off gluten to
get a negative biopsy? My Dr won't do the antibody tests as they don't
find them to be very accurate. Please pray for me that I won't have to
suffer to long before the biopsy.

Regards, Valerie, Nova Scotia
