Gluten Free cooked cereal:
4 cups boiling water
¾ cup uncooked millet
4 Tbsp. Buckwheat grouts (uncooked)
2 tsp. Cinnamon and 1 tsp. Nutmeg
1 chopped cooking apple, with skin (optional)
Simmer with lid on for about 35 min. Servings:6
This is what I eat for breakfast very often, with soymilk on top. I make
enough for 6 days at a time and store it in single-serving-size covered
containers in the refrigerator.
I understand that buckwheat is a fruit and is gluten free. It s a good
substitute for grains.
