I'm new to the list but I figured now is as good a time as any to join in. I
have discovered a wonderful bagel mix put out by Miss Roben's. You blend the
ingredients all given to you and after boiling for a minute or two in hot
water you just bake til brown. (I bake them twice as long as they say as to
get a good crunch to them!!) Their other products are fantastic too
especially their chocolate cake. Also, they have a batter coating mix to use
to fry (chicken cutlets, etc...) that's perfect. Their # is 1-800-891-0083 (I
think they just came out with a new catalog with more yummy delights) Also,
as long as I'm here, I took the advice to buy a donut maker and I am in
heaven!! Banana chocolate chip donuts have now become my new breakfast
choice. I bought it at Macy's- Maxim is the maker and it cost $24.99 on sale.
15 minutes from prep to finish and they're baked so not too fattening. Don't
forget to add 1tsp Xanthan Gum into the recipe.
