About a week ago someone inquired about prescriptions being Gluten-Free.
There is an excellent 2 1/2 page article entitled THE GLUTEN-FREE WAY TO
FILL PRESCRIPTIONS in the Jan/Feb 1996 edition of Gluten-Free Living.
Individual editions of the magazine are $6.00 I believe, however the annual
fee is $29 and the address is:
Gluten-Free Living
P.O. Box 105
hastings-on-Hudson, NY 10706
Its a wonderful edition to our knowledge, beautifully written. The story on
bones and what celiacs should do, to include a bone density test is what led
me to have a bone density test two weeks ago at Geo Wash U Hospital here in
Washington. Guess what? My endocrinoelogist (sp?) called today to say, yes,
I have osteoperosis, to go see her soon, so we can begin to build my bones
back up.
