Dear Celiac List Members,
After getting pretty upset with the local pharmacies regarding their
helpfullness - or should I say unhelpfullness - when it comes to making sure
that no gluten or dairy has been used in my medications, I called a compound
pharmacy in NJ. I talked to Bill Milazzo, the Pharmacist and Founder of
Stokes Pharmacy and, frankly, I was absolutely delighted with his approach.
He had not heard of CD before but was very willing to make up medication
from scratch, check with manufacturers, call my doctor, send stuff  UPS 2nd
day, etc. In short, he was very, very helpful, and very reassuring. I got my
medications delivered today (I called Monday) with a letter explaining all
that he had done and checked for me.
