I called the company earlier this week on the same subject, they will give you
the facts as you stated. For this reason, they do not consider that the
product is GF. Their logic is based upon their efforts a few years ago when
they were producing a true GF ceral (Ken-Mei).
The amount of contamination is a good question and each person must make their
own choice on this issue. This is regrettable in light of the ingredient
change this year to remove the small amount of barley.
