I'm not certain if this is the article to which sender Ingrid Gordon was
referring in her 9 July posting, but it might be of interest. I have NOT
seen the article and do not know if it discusses gluten intolerance issues.

Abstract:
Allergies develop within the immune system when foreign substances cause
the body to produce IgE antibodies which, when reacting with allergens,
produce harmful chemicals in the body. These antibodies can stay in the
body for as long as one year. Allergy types and treatments are discussed.
