Hi everyone. I think I remember reading about a study or studies of
women with CD who were able to become pregnant more readily once going on
the gf diet. I searched the database for fertility problems associated
with having untreated CD, but could not find what I am looking for.
Could anyone help me find this type of information??
I am interested because I have a sister who is having trouble becoming
pregnant. Since I have CD, I recommended that she have the
anti-endomysial antibodies blood test done to determine whether she has
untreated CD. Can she just ask her gynecologist to have this test done?
Should she ask for the "anti-endomysial antibodies blood test," or is it
more complicated than that? She is 31 years old and has no children.
Any comments/insight would be appreciated!!
Thanks,
Danna Feldgoise
