I too have a son who is ADD and was recently diagnosed as wheat sensitive.
He too has "elephant poops" which if I understand you mean that it seems
impossible they come out of that little body. He has been gluten free for
about three weeks now and I am hoping that some of the ADD symptoms might
clear up. Are you aware of any relationship between the two?37_29Aug199513:09:[log in to unmask] 9508 7818 24 21_TEMPTATIONS [log in to unmask], 29 Aug 1995 13:13:02 -0400476_- <<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>>

If you call Kellogg's they say that Temptations honey roasted pecan is
gluten free BUT!! There is cross contamination. It is made on the same line
with other cereals. I had a bowl this morning before I called and I do feel
it.

I spoke with Dianne Backus 1-800-962-1718 about the possibility of making
gluten free runs in the mill and labeling those GF. [...]39_29Aug199513:13:[log in to unmask] 9508 7843 16 20_Dry Brown Rice Sugar10_Will [log in to unmask], 29 Aug 1995 12:45:11 -0700373_- <<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>>

I have found a source for a dry brown rice sugar (dehydrated rice
syrup). The product is made by Devansoy farms, and their part number
is 15827 and 15828. They claim that no barley or cereal enzymes are
used in preparation of the sugar. Their phone is 800-747-8605.36_29Aug199512:45:[log in to unmask] 9508 7860 87 9_cd family11_Chris [log in to unmask], 29 Aug 1995 19:38:08 -0500657_- <<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>>

Hi. I just finished reading the archives and thought I would like to add
a few thoughts and ask a few questions.

First some background - I'm a 42 year old female, have 4 children: Melody
(f)(21yo), Carrie (f)(19yo), Christopher (m)(13yo), and Timothy
(m)(10yo). I quit breastfeeding Christopher at 2 1/2 years. He
immediately started having problems. We saw many military doctors,
husband in Air Force, and never received any help. At the age of 8, I
took him in to pediactrics frightened about his weight of 32 pounds. The

The following is an article that I wrote for a newsgroup thread with the
same subject name. Did get a question asking how come not everybody that was
eating gluten was fat and why some gluten eaters were thin. Don.

Here is the first draft of my current theory on this: [...]42_29Aug199521:26:[log in to unmask] 9508 8001 8 7_Sucanat17_Stacye D. [log in to unmask], 30 Aug 1995 00:04:13 -0500203_- <<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>>

In searching for a recipe for a healthy, fat free, high fiber muffins I found
(and improved upon!) a recipe on a box of Ancient Harvest Brand Organic
Quinoa Flakes. After just baking them (and eating one) I thought I would
share this delicious recipe.
1/2 Cup Brown rice flour
1/2 Cup Quinoa Flakes
2 tablespoons Kasha (fine granulation pure roasted buckwheat)
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
(optional: 1 tablespoon raisins or dried cranberries..or both)
1 ripe banana
1 egg (can use white only, or egg replacer)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Mix together dry ingredients.
In seperate bowl, mix together banana, egg and honey.
Add to dry ingredients.
Pour into greased muffin tins. Bake 20-25 minutes.
