Alec: Continuing in this vein, there was a question raised on the autism
list recently, about the absence of adult autists.

The answer is, they could be in jails or in the mental health stream.

Subsequently, I stated posting to Madness on the St. John's listserv. We
need to identify the adult autistic and get them into more appropriate
treatment.

Now, I know that only about 50% of tested autistics respond favorably to
a g/f, c/f diet, (which indicates that there is something else going on),
but humanely, people need to know about that treatment choice.

Alec, please do keep us informed on the saliva test.

There is also a Dr. Cade in Florida who is diagnosing autists on the
basis of blood & urine tests, it might be interesting to compare results
of one to the other.
