I am very upset! I just learned that a very kind and special lady
probably has lymphoma cancer. I had known she was having trouble and is
currently in the hospital, but didn't know she was having Celiac symptoms.
When her daughter told me she thought her mother had LC, I began asking
questions about Celiac symptoms. The answers were "yes" right down the
line. She is extremely ill, weak, etc. and in the hospital. They just
took a biopsy of the tumor and don't have the results. She was going to
talk to the doctor about the Celiac tests. Could she get enough evidence
from blood tests since she is so weak to have the tube down her throat?
Do any of you have encouraging words of survival for lymphoma victims? I
hardly know what to say to her daughter. If you have suggestions for me
to give her, please e-mail very soon. I will see her tomorrow (7/10/96).
Thanks in advance.
PS: By the way, her doctor was finally going to send her to a Gastro
specialist when she became to ill and ended up in the hospital. A little
late, I fear.
