Have been a diagnosed celiac for 20 years. Lucky to have a really good
doctor here in the D.C. area. My five children have shown no symptoms but a
younger sister developed celiac in the last two years. Now I hear very
distressing news from my youngest son's 2 year old. Not only celiac symptoms
but also the dematitis herpoformus (?) rash. They live in Bakersville, NC
and the doctors there don't know what my daughter-in-law is talking about.
We need the name of a doctor in the Bakersville-Asheville-Johnson City area.
The present doctor has the child on some steroid drug for the rash. The
child has been a GF-free diet for several weeks now and that has helped some.
Please help. My daughter-in-law may have to go to Duke University for help
if we can't find someone nearer. Thanks in advance for any help you can
give.
