Since we're on the subject of ice cream, I've always been confused about
why ice cream would NOT be gluten-free. I, obviously, understand that
ice creams such as oreo cookie and choc. chip cookie dough wouldn't be
gluten-free, but what would ever be wrong with any chocolate, vanilla,
or strawberry, for example? I read that oat gum can be in ice cream, but
so far I have yet to find an ice cream with 'oat gum' as an ingredient
and I've check MANY ice creams! Is oat gum disguised under another name
in ice cream?
