I checked the label on a can of Contadina Tomato Sauce on my pantry
shelf. No oil. The label does list tomato paste as (I believe) the
first ingredient -- sorry, I don't have it in front of me -- BUT
Contadina Tomato Paste only has tomatoes and salt in it. Both of
these products are gf as are many other Contadina and Nestle products.
I recall some one posting the whole product list a while back. If you
would like more information as to what was on the list, e-mail me
privately and spare the list. One thing about the Contadina Tomato
Sauce: it tends toward the acidic. I add about a teaspoon of brown
sugar to a 15 oz. can to take the edge off (or I get incredible
heartburn).
