Can someone out there clarify and confirm information I have from a short
press article about Celiac ?

Unfortunately, I do not know where it comes from - faxed to me from an
interested friend in Ireland.

It reads "According to 'Gut'(1995, 36, 375). the genetic engineering
of wheat may allow patients with celiac disease to enjoy a fuller diet some
time in the future. Italian researchers say that they have produced
wheat with low levels of gliadins - "

Any comments on the realistic effect of this research on our lives ??

Regards, Margaret Doyle
