Someone forwarded a list of Heinz product which are
claimed to be gluten-free. I saw this list around a
year ago, started eating Heinz products again, and
seemed to respond badly to them. I decided to try the
gluten-testing kit before trusting their word again.

The Heinz Vegetarian Beans showed a distinct and *high*
level of gluten. We also tested Heinz ketchup which
showed a much lesser, but still distinct, level--what
they would consider an acceptable level in England
but not in America. (This is also how KC Masterpiece
tested out, incidentally, also claimed by the manufacturer
to be gluten-free.)

I really don't know reliable this gluten-testing kit
is, but based on its findings plus my own reaction,
I won't be eating any Heinz products. We're going to
retest the beans in a day or two just to check.

Has anyone on the list started eating Heinz products?
Any noticable reactions?
