Buddy, and others:
Some email cliants will not allow you to send a totally blank message
with nothing in either the subject line or within the body of the message.
That's why many email lists tell you to put "subscribe" followed by the
name of the list in the subject line, then leave the remainder of the
message blank.
I think the System Access Mobile Network Email, which is what I am
using right now, is one of them. I too sent the blank message at about
1:30 PM, and have not yet received a confirmation reply.
The message shows up in my sent messages folder, but I think it is
hitting the wall somewhere along the way in the System Access Mobile
Network server.
So, any ideas on how those of us with this problem can avoid being left
behind by the move?
