I posted this Summary erronously I believe...so, will "attempt" to post again and this time in hopes that it is correct.

First of all, I received numerous replies to my inquiry and believe I answered each of them at least once but if I missed someone, I truly apologize for doing so because I really do appreciate everyone's reply.

It has all made me realize that while I was diagnosed with CD in October 2012, I believe that the disease was there long before the diagnosis. The reasoning of that is that I've had IBS, ulcerative colitius, spastic colitius for at least 30 years. All the Digestive Disease Specialists I've been to were all just concentrating on those symptoms and never thinking to actually look at and bioposy my small intestine! THAT is a bit difficult for me to understand as to why the thought never entered their minds to do that - but, well....you can't change history....so, I deal with the NOW.

All of your replies were interesting. Most all tell me the longer I'm on a gluten free diet, the more apt I'll experience negative effects should I accidently ingest gluten. That makes sense to me.

Some responses told me of their own battle and success in being gluten free, one told of her son's ordeal. I won't go into detail about anything, believing that if they want their stories told, they have the option to tell it themselves. I just wanted to say that each of you were so very thoughtful and caring to take time out of your day to respond to me and just wanted to say thank you very much to each and every one of you.

I sincerely hope/pray that all of us become healthier and gluten free.
Evon
