My Wife of 45 years was out of town this past week, helping our Daughter and Family move into their new home. Like many men I am not that handy around the kitchen. I can eat with the best of them, but cooking is not my forte'. 

I found some Asparagus in the fridge and remembered fondly my Mother making Creamed Asparagus served over toast. So what the heck, I thought I would give it a try. 

I poured the Asparagus and the juice it was packed in, into a small sauce pan and put the burner on the stove to medium.
