Hi,
Thanks much to all who responded. With all your help, we can travel worry free (almost!). Here is the list:
Bon apetit!
Paris:
I bought the book Gluten Free France. It helped alot. And the best thing was a totally gluten free bakery in Paris which is worth the taxi trip . Its called Helmut Newcake. Delish treats and all Gluten free.

I know that there is a new bakery in Paris that is all gluten-free. I have not visited but here is their blog: http://bio-sphere-cafe.blogspot.com/ and I know she is on Facebook as well. I think she is only open Tuesdays and Saturdays though. I am sure you can e-mail her as well because she speaks English.

We have reviews for both Paris and London on our website, GlutenFreeTravelSite ( http://glutenfreetravelsite.com ), which is a website containing thousands of user-submitted GF dining and travel reviews, searchable by location. Simply visit our Search/Mapping page ( http://glutenfreetravelsite.com/maps/map-locator.php ) and enter either city into the Search Box. You'll get a list of restaurants that have been reviewed. Click on any restaurant to see it highlighted on the map and to link to the user-submitted review.

GF Dining in Paris: http://glutenfreetravelblog.typepad.com/gluten_free_travel_blog/2011/05/gluten-free-in-france-part-ii-dining-gluten-free-in-paris.html. Unfortunately, the one gluten free restaurant where we dined -- TWICE! -- has since closed, and we have taken the review down from our site. It was called Des Si Et Des Mets. I'm afraid we had a difficult time finding places that understood our requests, and I did do a lot of research in advance. There is another restaurant you'll see reviewed (by me) on our Paris page: Le Reminet, where we had a good experience.

Unless you speak French, take a French gluten-free language card (found online) with you. I found the language cards indispensable in Croatia, Turkey, Greece and Italy...on our recent trip. You may also be able to locate the French celiac society for advice.

Paris...we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this bakery http://www.davidlebovitz.com/2012/02/helmut-newcake-gluten-free-bakery-in-paris/.
We actually found a Chipotle http://www.yelp.com/biz/chipotle-pariswhich might sound ridiculous but it was really hard to find a satisfying meal that didn't cost $300 and was relatively safe.
