As I'm going to be doing a gluten-challenge soon, I sincerely hope
this information is wrong! Does anyone have more information about
this?
I had an uncomfortable thought - could it be that the reason there's
such a variance in the length of time recommended for a
gluten-challenge is because no one really *knows* how long you ned to
eat gluten? From what I've heard here and elsewhere, hardly anyone
can stay off the diet long enough to do a challenge.
My worst fear about getting a biopsy is that I will suffer through the
gluten challenge and then the results will be negative, leaving me
even more confused than I already am...not to mention sick as a dog
for however long it takes to get over it.
