Does anyone have a rolled (cookie cutter type) sugar cookie recipe that handles well in shipping? I have to make my Chanukah cookies next week, and ship them to grandkids, but my kids tell me, they end up in crumbs. My hamantasen, in the spring, for the holiday of Purim, come out fine and travel well, because they're a heavy dough. But I have no luck with rolled sugar cookies, no matter how I pack them.
Any ideas?
Suggestion: if you email fractions in this listserv, put a space on either side of the diagonal slash, so the system won't chew up the recipe, or spell out the fraction. (Thanks to a listmate for the idea of spacing out the fractions. I find it works. So one half is 1 / 2. Spaces in between.)
Thanks.
Lin
