Well, here I am again trying to get new ideas from my fellow celiacs as to
why I always have the problem of feeling full. Yes, I know that it's
probably gas-related. I'm currently on H2 blocker. Of course, it could be
that I do not produce enough gas and H2 blocker is counter-productive.
Antibiotics always makes me feel great after I take them, but it also kills
all the bacteria, including the necessary bacteria I need. I do replenish
with acidophilus.
I think this is a digestion issue because - at times -- I start feeling
better when I don't eat anything for a long time (i.e., 6-8 hours). Yes, I
was diagnosed with a very severe case of SIBO and have improved through
antibiotic treatment. But I can't live the rest of my life on antibiotics,
plus it screws up my flora. I am looking for something that will really
resolve my issues. The only problem with not eating is that I can't do that
because my blood pressure drops, and I don't feel good either. I am on the
SCD still (since September 2009), so I'm not taking in any foods that will
feed the bad bacteria. I really need to get my flora and my digestion back
in order. Anyone have any other ideas either tests to look for something
that hasn't been looked for or any ideas on getting my digestion and flora
back in order?
Thanks!
Lori
